Login Locations

The platform is fully cloud-based, allowing you to scale without managing devices, proxies, or local resources. All LinkedIn activity is handled securely in the cloud, starting from the initial login.

What Is a Login Location?

A login location defines the geographic region used to connect and interact with your LinkedIn account.

This location is used for:

  • Your initial account login

  • All future automated interactions

For best performance and security, we recommend selecting a location that is geographically closest to you.

Available Login Locations

  • Login locations are available in 60+ countries

  • Distributed across 10,000+ IP addresses

  • Each LinkedIn account can use a different location

This flexibility is especially useful for teams managing multiple accounts across regions.

Choosing a Login Location

When connecting a LinkedIn account for the first time, youโ€™ll be prompted to select a login location.

  • The location selector appears at the bottom of the login window

  • Simply choose the region that best matches your actual location

Changing a Login Location

Login locations can be updated at any time and take effect immediately.

To change the login location for an account:

  1. Go to the Accounts page

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the LinkedIn account

  3. Select Account settings

  4. Locate the Login location dropdown at the bottom of the settings panel

  5. Choose a new location

This makes location changes easy, even for larger teams.

Using a Custom Proxy Instead

If needed, you can use your own proxy instead of a platform-provided login location.

  • Click Add proxy when connecting an account

  • Or select Add proxy when changing the login location in account settings

Custom proxies provide full control over routing and compliance requirements.

Important Notes

  • Choose a location closest to your real location whenever possible

  • Frequent logins from distant locations may raise security flags on some LinkedIn accounts

  • Team members do not need to use the same login location

  • Login locations can be changed at any time
