What Is a Lead?

A Lead is any LinkedIn profile that meets one of the following criteria:

  • Is a 1st-degree LinkedIn connection, or

  • Has an active conversation with one of your LinkedIn accounts

Leads CRM automatically collects and aggregates leads from all LinkedIn accounts in your workspace.

For example, if your team uses multiple LinkedIn accounts, Leads CRM will display a single unified list of all connections and active conversations across those accounts.

Filtering Your Leads

Leads CRM includes powerful filtering options to help you quickly narrow down your lead list for outreach, segmentation, or exports.

You can combine multiple filters to build highly targeted views.

  • LinkedIn account (which account the lead is connected to)

  • Current or past company

  • Mark as favorite to pin important leads for quick access

Favorites are workspace-wide and independent of LinkedIn’s native starring feature.

Quick View Access

Clicking on any lead opens the Quick View, which is available throughout the platform - not just in Leads CRM.

This allows you to:

  • View lead details

  • Add or edit notes and labels

  • Manage lead information while actively chatting with prospects

For example, you can open Quick View directly from the inbox while replying to messages.

Lead Detailed View

Selecting See full profile opens the lead’s detailed view.

This page mirrors the lead’s LinkedIn profile and includes:

  • Work experience

  • Education

  • Licenses and certifications

  • Skills

  • Contact information

It also displays all internal data such as notes, labels, and campaign sources.

Messaging Leads

From both the Quick View and detailed view, you can click Send Message to jump directly into the inbox conversation with that lead.

Exporting Your Leads

Leads CRM allows you to export filtered lead data in seconds.

You can export:

  • LinkedIn profile details

  • Email addresses

  • Phone numbers

  • Labels

  • Campaign sources
